THE RULES

Skating is a fast moving sport that
involves risk, so always obey the
instructions of B&D's Floorguards
and Management--it keeps us all safe!

(Please review everything below.)

B&D requires all who enter to dress comfortably and modestly.

No rude behavior, foul language, fighting, intoxication, weapons, or offensive
    apparel will be tolerated.

Skaters and parents should report any unsafe condition.

All persons skating must have a ticket.

All persons on the skating floor must be wearing skates.

You may bring your own skates and use them at B&D. They must not have protruding
edges or metal wheels, if equipped for a toe stop or a heel stop, there must be one in the
hole (a toe plug is fine as long as it extends beyond the base of the socket.)

Some inferior in-line skates have protruding wheel axles that can gouge the
skating floor.  Only axles  FLUSH with the frame will be allowed.

All skates must have a frame with a sturdy shoe or boot attached and be steerable.
    (Heelys are not skates.)

No in and out privileges.        No loitering outside.        No Smoking.

Fast and reckless skating is not tolerated at any time. Skaters may, of course,
try out new skills, but never at the expense of safety and order.

Do not stand on benches or sit on walls.

Bring all rental skates back to the skate counter.

Backwards skating is permitted during "all skates" provided you are looking
    where you are going!

Do not pick up and carry a child while wearing skates!

Parents, be sure to pick up your children on time!

NO GUM!         NO Gum!       NO Gum!
